Kathy drives strategy and oversees day-to-day media activities for B2B clients in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and healthtech, along with B2C clients in the hospitality, food and wellness. Her management and execution of clients PR campaigns have earned Kathy accolades for her no-nonsense approach to media relations and her keen ability to craft a story.

Prior to joining BAM, Kathy was a Senior Account Executive at global agency Weber Shandwick’s New York City technology practice, where she supported a broad spectrum of technology clients in, cloud-based software, healthcare, mobility, IoT, manufacturing, energy, and transportation. Born and raised on the Jersey shore, Kathy received a B.A. in psychology from Hartwick College and a masters from Fordham University. She started her communications career creating integrated campaigns for international nonprofit healthcare organizations.

Best part of Kathy’s role: I love media and working with early-stage companies and later stage companies to tell their story. Being part of creating something new or improving on what already exists and successfully putting my clients front and center on the global stage makes my job so rewarding.

What Kathy reads: You’ll catch me reading the latest business and finance news at the Wall Street Journal and the latest tech news at Quartz, Fast Company, and The Verge. I also try to listen to one TED podcast a day on a different subject matter, during my commute.

One top career highlight: My client wanted to showcase its U.S. digitalization strategy to show how their latest innovations are helping industries from manufacturing to transportation embrace the power of data and lead in a digital and connected world. I built an integrated campaign strategy coupled with a strong thought leadership angle and I secured Fox Business ‘Mornings With Maria’ for the company’s Global CTO. This segment and integrated campaign strategy became the footprint for the company’s U.S. business strategy and digitalization portfolio.
