Jered grew up surfing the beaches of OC while developing an interest in the technical practices of communications and marketing. He earned his degree at California State University in Long Beach, which furthered his interest in helping companies develop their business strategies to differentiate within their markets.

Jered joined BAM in 2015 to run marketing and promotions for its sister company Bite, which grew to San Diego’s largest food tour organization nationwide. While also assisting with the promotion and recruitment of BAM, Jered co-led the sale of Bite in 2016. He now handles research and analysis for BAM and its clients.

What Jered reads: TermSheet and CB Insights email newsletters for funding and M&A insights. I also like Bulldog Reporter. Personally, I live and die by the surf report from Surfline, and because I’m a huge hockey fan. I surf and skate every week.

One top career highlight: Anytime I’ve had to set up an event for 50+ people and manage every minor detail. Those days are stressful, but every one is a learning opportunity and they’ve all ended great!
