Daniella began her career as the Marketing and Development Assistant at San Diego Youth Services, a nonprofit organization helping at-risk and homeless youth in San Diego. An attraction to the fast pace of the tech industry drew her to BAM in 2013, where she put her BA in journalism and PR from San Diego State to use promoting early- and mid-stage startups.

Daniella’s no-nonsense approach aligns well with demanding content and media relations programs she manages for emerging tech companies. Her focus areas include consumer hardware, e-commerce and lifestyle companies of all sizes.

Best part of Daniella’s role: No day is the same! I enjoy the challenge of meeting clients’  expectations and helping them grow their businesses – whether it’s through the perfect earned media placement or impactful content marketing. Every company has its own story and its own set of challenges.

What Daniella reads: I get my top business news from the top four national dailies. TechCrunch and Mashable keep me up on the latest trends and new technologies so I can keep my clients informed.

Superhero moment: Just one? In PR there are always moments during which something needs fixing or managing. But if I had to pick one I’m particularly proud of, it’s the time we interested two influential reporters in the same story. For a PR person, this can be sticky, as each outlet needs something unique, and we want to protect journalists’ time. We worked hard to secure them each a unique angle, and the client ended up with two wonderful stories in Forbes that gave them massive visibility. The most rewarding days are win-win-win!
